Moquett does not restrict himself to only buying at the sales. He also buys privately and claims horses on a regular basis.

Buying Philosophy

Moquett's buying philosophy consists of finding very modestly priced horses with good pedigrees and conformation. He looks twice as hard and at twice as many horses to find just the right deal for his owners.
